| About: Twilight is a fictional vampire romance novel by Stephenie Meyer that is very popular among teenagers and young adults. Many novels have been written on zombies and vampires, some with a romance nature and some as horror, but few have intertwined the two as well as Twilight. It grasped the ultimate attention and success when it was published in 2005, and was number 5 on New York Times Best Seller List within the same month as its' publication. The book did immense business in 2008 and has sold almost 17 million copies over all. Due to its' immense popularity, it has been translated into 37 languages. The story is based around a young girl, Isabella, who falls in love with a vampire named Edward Cullen. It narrates how Isabella, who her very shy, comes closer to Edward and how he avoids her because she is a human. But finally they end up together, with Isabella's wish to become a vampire as well. What happens next has been narrated in the sequels of Twilight named New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. A film adaptation of Twilight earned more than $382 million in 2008. | ||||||

| 10/10 | I read all four in less than a week! Although the writing could be improved, I enjoyed the overall story. Twilight has an addictive plot which heightened in New Moon, disappointed in Eclipse, and then was revived mostly in Breaking Dawn. I heard about the book(s) from friends and coworkers and was not disappointed. I am 32 and feared the story might not satisfy me, wrong! I am not a big reader, but I couldn't put this one down. I fought to overlook Belle's whining and was impressed how the story almost replaced her whole appearance in Breaking Dawn. If Twilight does grasp you, the remaining saga will be a fulfilling endeavor. | |||||

The writer stephenie meyer is truely tallented, and has such a fascinating imagination to come up with such ideas to put in all her four books, i admire her dearly. I was so impressed at the intensity of the emotion and story in the four books of the twilight saga, The romance in it was spine-tingling. The characters are most interesting. To me, they were so good, it's like i didn't want the story to end, after reading them it just wasn't enough. I'd totally recommend purchasing these books, it's a must buy, and definatly worth reading more than once. The subject of vampires has been taken to a new level and experimented and explored with. | |||||

The most impossible love. It's not whether or not she's young and whiny or if he's to over protective. It's showing someone that no matter what or who they are, they will irrevocably be there and try in any way shape or form to keep the other safe and happy. Anyone older knows that this is not the case and as a series Twilight does nothing to dissuade people of that notion. The book is more about a girls obsession with a vampire (who is obsessive enough himself).She believes this love. As the main character has barely any other traits than being whiny and depressed it's amazing that the books have become such a hit. I pity the people who believe that this tripe is anything above ordinary. If you want romance there are far better books out there. If you want vampires read the Anne Rice books.
