| 9/10 | This book was pretty good, but just a little strange. | |||||
| 1/10 | Really? I didn't like this book at all. | |||||
| 6/10 | Banal. Interesting plot that is squandered by holier-than-thou allegories. But hey, boys are cruel, thanks for reminding me, Golding. | |||||
| 10/10 | I think you would be hard pressed to find a more intense book than this. Loved it! | |||||
| 10/10 | good book | |||||
| 10/10 | Every single word is drenched in symbolism, but the story still works properly. There are several layers to the seemingly simple story, but not one of them feels forced. Extremely terrifying, with the immediate bluntness of a pig's head on a stick... what an awesome book! | |||||
| 6/10 | very interesting take on society but after having to look at the deep symbolism for two years... it kind of killed the book. | |||||
| 10/10 | Should be required reading for all. | |||||
| 10/10 | This book should definitely be on the curriculum! Symbolism in it is ahmazing. Recommend to everyone. | |||||
