10/10Great book. What more can I say?
10/10One of the best books I have ever read. I reread it every ten years. I have since read it four times.
1/10Such garbage, it was so hard to read and harder yet to follow. I was told that this was the ultimate SciFi. Well, whoever thinks this is such wonderful fiction has never read any of the classics by Niven or Silverberg. Tripe, pure and simple.
10/10One of the best sci-fi books I've ever read. Dune has wonderful complexity.
9/10Excellent book unless you are a simian, then you mind find it "hard to read and harder yet to follow." In such cases you might wish to turn to the classics by Niven and Silverberg.
10/10One of my favorites. Complex plot with many themes.
10/10Classic
10/10One of my all time favorite books, doesn't treat its readers like total morons.
10/10The first time I read this book I found it painful. The second time I read this book my eyes were opened and I beheld a glorious philosophical adventure. Those who don't enjoy this book pure and simply didn't get it.
10/10Easily the best science fiction novel ever written, it has stayed on my "top 10 books I would want if I were stranded on a deserted island" since my first read 25 years ago.
10/10Read all the books. Complexity is just one of the many facets of this collection. But the story dies out after Frank Herbert's death. It was really painful to read the semi-destruction of the universe, I pictured, by his son Brian and co-author Kevin Handerson. Oh well, 10/10 for Frank Herbert's Dune, 4/10 for is son.
