Philip K Dick10.0/10Buy Book
About: The novel, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, was written by Philip K. Dick in 1968. It is a science fiction novel and has a primary and secondary plot. Deckard is the lead character in the novel and is a hunter of androids. He is faced with a challenge of retiring six escaped Nexus-6 model androids. The nature of androids is nowhere near empathic, so humanoid androids are produced to provoke the idea of what it actually requires to be a human. Even though the human versions of androids are created, the still show no compassion or empathy towards humans. The novel had a film adaptation named Blade Runner. In addition, two audio books have been released as well. The book was nominated for the Nebula Award in 1968 and in 1998 was awarded with Locus Poll Award.

10/10A great book. full of action and intrigue. The movie adaptation, Blade Runner, was nowhere near as good as the book, but still worth watching.
10/10Amazing book by Phillip K Dick as is everything he wrote.
10/10P.K.D. was a true original, a genius given to poetic narration. Electric Sleep is a reference to the question; what is it that defines a soul, and is it possible for a sufficiently advanced technology to dream and think as we do?
10/10Amazing book, a must.
