| 9/10 | Martin has mastered this genre with his epic saga "A Song of Ice and Fire". His style is superb, character development is second to none, and story will grab you and keep you up until the wee hours biting your nails. Do yourself a favor, read this series. It single-handedly (?) got me into the fantasy genre, which I never had much interest in. Also look for the series coming out in early 2011 on HBO, Martin started as a screen play writer, so most of his fans should have high hopes for HBO's adaptation of this incredible series | |||||
